Thread: Animated 360 Panorama web player. Please help.

Hellow forum.
Yesterday i watch very interesting interactive 360 panorama video http://www.upstreamadvertising.nl/rockandrun/

It is so cool and it also created with soft/hard-ware of this company http://www.yellowbirdsdonthavewingsb....com/products/

And we can create the same thing in CG graphics too and with much better resolution.

How to :
1) create 3d scene ( in 3d Max for example )
2) create camera and set it to 360 degrees ( for example Vray camera, like in this tutorial http://renderstuff.com/creating-virt...a-cg-tutorial/ )
3) animate object in scene or/and animate camera (in my test video i made 5 seconds video with 24 fr. per sec. with animated teapods )
4) render your sequence of panoramic frames ( use your favorite render for animation, i use v-ray )
5) create your animation ( in my test i quickly use some old quick-Time pro programm and made short .mov movie )

Now You have a very odd-look animation, but it is ok, it is panoramic animation. Now your must watch it in 360 player.

And NOW QUESTION :

People, do you know any other panoramic players like this http://www.yellowbirdsdonthavewingsb...logy/playback/ and this http://krpano.com/video/ ,
because it all only for money, do u know any FREE panoramic players and how to add them for a web??????


And offcourse if anybody have any good ( maybe yellow bird 360 player ) web 360 player, please, let me try it ) )))))

nice idea...but be prepared for extreme long rendering times..

I am ready for that, it is not so long as i thought. I did a couple of renders with this technic - not very long. I was working on single PC with on i-7 processor sandybridge, 16 gb RAM, GTX 580, i was impress with speed.


BUT WHAT PLAYER I MUST USE ????? )))

How To Make a Spherical Panoramic with V-Ray
============================================
01) load your finished room
02) put a Free Camera in the center of the room
03) Open Render dialog box
04) change the resolution/render size to 2:1 ratio (2000x1000, etc)
05) select the V-Ray Camera Roll-out under the Renderer tab
06) select SPHERICAL under camera type
07) select Override and type in 360 (to get a complete room)
08) render (good to go Very Happy)

Edit: it's a shame, vr worx is only compatible with versions of Windows XP to back, in addition to the network is the last version 2.6 only found 2.0 and does not work in Windows 7.
